|
IAP is dedicated to implementing good management and environmental practices that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
Every project at IAP is built on a technological framework designed to ensure success. We call that foundation our Business Operating System or BOS — a sophisticated, secure web-based management system that was created by IAP’s IT experts to provide our customers with unprecedented, real-time insight into contract operations.
The BOS is the home for IAP’s standardized business processes and document management systems, plus a variety of information management tools to monitor: accounting; human resources; safety and environmental issues; corrective and preventive action; workflow; and quality. Sophisticated security mechanisms are designed into the BOS, with varying levels of information access granted based on role groups and a password protected system.
IAP customers are also provided with access to the BOS, allowing them to track the performance of contract requirements. The BOS provides standardization and consistency at project sites around the globe, which helps to ensure that jobs will be done right each and every time. Plus BOS allows projects to share information and best practices more easily by the system’s ability to track projects performing similar functions.
Built as a dynamic system, the BOS can be updated with practically any function a customer or business partner requests and also is the portal to a host of powerful commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products including Maximo, Costpoint, PeopleSoft, ClaimDesk, and Livelink. In performance evaluations, IAP customers have cited the BOS as a key differentiator that helps them operate in a more streamlined and efficient manner.
