FIRE INSPECTION INFORMATION
The Fort Irwin Fire Department periodically inspects all facilities on Fort
Irwin. Depending on the type of occupancy, the number of occupants, and special
hazards some facilities are inspected more frequently than others.
During a fire inspection the Inspector will contact the building responsible
party or their designee to advise them of the inspection and to escort them
through the facility. The Inspector will make recommendations for repairs and
or changes to improve fire safety.

Fire Extinguisher Re-servicing
For items in need of repair the building occupant should contact IAP Work Order
Desk at 380-3539. Advise the dispatcher that you were inspected by the Fire
Department and that this item needs to to repaired as soon as possible in order
to meet fire safety code requirements.
If you have a question regarding your inspection please contact the Fire
Prevention Bureau at 380-6852 and they can answer your questions or direct you
to someone who can.
To report possible fire safety problems please contact the Fire Chief or Fire
Prevention Bureau immediately with the information and we will follow up on
it promptly.
FIRE STATION VISITS
The Fort Irwin Department is pleased to arrange a visit to your fire station.
To schedule a visit just email the Fire Chief with your request, the number of
persons in your group, the approximate age of visitors, and any special purpose
or needs associated with your visit.
