– Military Spouse magazine has named IAP Worldwide Services to its “Top 20 List of Military Spouse Friendly Employers for 2012,” spotlighting companies that actively hire military spouses and work to keep them on board through the challenges of deployments and military-mandated relocations.
“So many companies today avidly recruit this trusted and valuable workforce," said Babette Maxwell, co-founder and executive editor of Military Spouse. “Military spouses are experts at multi-tasking and thriving under pressure, and they are a highly educated and mobile workforce.”
IAP ranked 14th on the list and was selected from a pool of approximately 5,000 eligible companies with a minimum of $500 million in annual revenues. Employers were assessed on a variety of factors, including the number of military spouse employees, the effort and results to recruit military spouses, and the company’s willingness to find new jobs for military spouses who are relocating on orders from the military.
“As a company that serves multiple military customers around the globe it’s a smart business decision for us to hire employees who understand and appreciate the importance of what we do,” said IAP President Bob Phillips. “We’re committed to doing everything possible to ensure that working for IAP is a satisfying and rewarding experience for all our employees.”
