U.S. Agency for International Development
When
the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
needed to augment its respected global health team with experts
who could assist in the battle against HIV/AIDS in developing
nations, the agency turned to IAP.
USAID is an independent government agency that provides economic,
development, and humanitarian assistance around the world
in support of the foreign policy goals of the United States.
IAP provides USAID with HIV researchers, doctors, lawyers,
epidemiologists, and policy experts who are helping USAID
develop and implement programs on AIDS prevention in developing
countries, including South Africa, Nigeria, Swaziland, Thailand,
Rwanda, and Botswana.
