Who We Are

Community Relations
From increasing educational opportunities to leading fundraising for local charities, IAP employees are encouraged to take an active role in their local communities.

IAP is actively involved in partnerships that unite business and education in our local communities. With the help of local schools, IAP seeks to build customized partnerships that meet the identified needs of local schools and their students.

Here are some examples of IAP team members at work:

In Brevard County, Fla., IAP officially partners with Cape View Elementary, Enterprise Elementary, Endeavour Elementary, Edgewood Jr./Sr. High, Jefferson Junior High, Merritt Island High, Space Coast Early Intervention Center, and Central Alternative Learning Center. In addition to sponsoring Brevard Schools Foundation programs, IAP also responds to specific needs at other area schools.

The IAP team at Fort Gordon, in Augusta, Georgia, provides financial assistance to support the educational mission of the Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. The IAP team also helps its U.S. Army customer improve lakes in the area by dredging out silt build-up.

IAP employees have actively participated in the U.S. Navy’s Personal Excellence through Cooperative Education (PECE) program, which pursues partnerships between Naval Commands and local schools to strengthen education, fitness and citizenship of American youth.

At the NASA Ames facility management project in California, the Emergency Response and Damage Utility Control Team participates every year in summer youth programs, sharing information on possible career opportunities.

At the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) in Lafayette, LA, IAP participates in a “job shadow” program with the Iberia Parish School System to offer educators an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the skills, attitudes, and attributes necessary to be successful in today's workforce.
Employees at numerous IAP project sites join together every year to walk as a team and man checkpoints in the annual March of Dimes fundraising walk.
