IAP to Provide Support Services at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida
Cape Canaveral, FL – IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that it was awarded a subcontract to provide Base Operations Support (BOS) at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida, in partnership with Akima Facilities Management, LLC.
The 6 year (base year plus 5 option years) contract was awarded by the Department of the Air Force and supports the 6th Air Mobility Wing as well as U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, Joint Communication Support Command, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The IAP and Akima team will provide installation engineering support for 19,000 military, coalition, civilian and contract personnel on the installation’s 5,767 acres in downtown Tampa. The MacDill physical plant includes an 11,400 foot runway and 330 facilities totaling 4.8 million square feet. IAP will provide Asset Management/Environmental, Engineering, Hospital Facility Maintenance, High Voltage Electrical, Emergency Response, and Airfield Pavement services.
